A New Masjid Near Kawaguchiko Lake & Mount Fuji

Halal Japan is super excited to share the good news about a new masjid built near Mount Fuji and Kawaguchiko Lake. It was inaugurated on November 8, 2020. For the time being, only the prayer room is available. However, the masjid administration plans to add other necessary facilities like wudu (ablution) place and toilets at a later stage. We request all our readers in Japan to visit this beautiful masjid when you happen to be near the area. Insha Allah, we plan to share more information about the masjid once it becomes available.

If Lake Kawaguchi is on your bucket list once Japan opens its borders in April 2021, be sure to visit the Fuji Kawaguchiko Masjid as well. You will be able to find halal food restaurants in the area as well. Be sure to SHARE this piece of good news with your Muslim and non-Muslim friends and family members who would like to visit the masjid. It is definitely a masjid with a close-up view of Mount Fuji in all its grandeur.

The mosque is spacious which can accommodate dozens of people to visit and pray there. Its building is pretty new and it is at walking distance from Kawaguchi Lake in the Mount Fuji area. The mosque also has a halal food and cafe area for Muslim travelers.

The masjid is expected to serve as an important attraction for Muslim travelers from within Japan and the outside world due to its proximity to Mount Fuji.

Halal Restaurants

There is an Indian restaurant in the Fujikawaguchiko area as we know. However, so far, we have not been able to confirm whether it serves halal food, But, please enjoy halal food when you visit the newly built masjid.
