Aichi Service Area Offers Halal Foods For Muslim Tourists

The Okazaki service area on the Shin-Tomei Expressway planned to start selling halal bento boxes when it opened in February, prepared with local produce under Islamic dietary rules. An official said the service area had not previously offered halal food, and that many tour buses use the expressway. Check the current menu with the service area before relying on this.
