Well, that was the issue addressed by Tokyo`s Governor Yuriko Koike. She plans to embrace full measures to control the epidemic including a lockdown in the city should the need arise.
To help control the spike in Covid-19 cases in the city, she hinted at imposing a strict lockdown in the city if the situation gets worse. She urged Tokyo residents to stay at home during the upcoming weekend. She also asked residents to avoid all non-essential outings through until April 12.
All these measures and many more may be essential to help control the virus outbreak. However, what is your take on this issue? Do you agree that Tokyo should be locked down? Please let us know in the comments below. We will happily share your comments with other readers.
