Recently, our staff at Halal Japan have been thinking a lot about the uncertainty surrounding the local and global halal industry due to the spread of the Covid-19 virus in Japan and other parts of the world. The crisis may be much bigger than we can think at this stage as it is likely that Tokyo Olympics will also be cancelled consequently.
The stakeholders of the halal industry have spent billions in Japan in the hopes of earning profits. The halal industry was in fact, booming up until recently. We would hear the news of new restaurants springing almost in every part of the country.
We know that our readers are very knowledgeable in the halal industrt and other local and global affairs of importantce. We would like to hear their thought on what the way forward should be regarding the uncertainty surrounding the Japanese halal industry the o Covid-19 epidemic. Please feel free to comment on this issue.

Halal industry is flourishing in Japan but deadly corona have now effected it much as many big events are going to cancel.
As for Halal restaurants , these are working well and serving non Muslim communities too . Even you have a halal restaurant but if you change the serving pattern a little you can attract other non Muslim people too as food is a basic need of everybody. We Muslim can not eat every food but everyone can eat our food , so that is not a big problem .
Big problem is laying in the slow of activities and economy and opening of restaurants at some special places solely for the purpose of celebrating of those events. But still there are solutions .
