After renovating its fifth and sixth floors, the Edo Tokyo Museum in Sumida Ward, Tokyo has reopened its doors to visitors. Tokyo`s 400-year history covered by the museum is now extended to the 21st century postmodern megacity workings of the world.
Sections of the museum such as Edo To Tokyo show the gradual transofmration of the culture starting from the early Edo Period begining in 1603. Apart from Japanese, English, French, Spanish, Chinese, and Korean language guides have been displayed there to help visitors from foreign countries to fully appreciate the rich cultural history the transofrmation from Edo to Tokyo presents.
However, by looking at the list of the language guides put on display for foreign there, it seems that , at least, up until now, no languages from traditional Muslim countries have got any traction in the minds of the museum management.
The details about the museum camn be viewed on their website given below.
