The Halal Japan staff would like to extend our heartiest Eid greetings to Muslim brothers and sisters in Japan and elsewhere. According to various masajid in the country, Eid-ul-Fitr will be held on Sunday, May 24, and tomorrow (Saturday). Moon could not be sighted in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore. So, we will Insha Allah, celebrate the Eid on Sunday instead of tomorrow.
According to many people around the world, this could be the saddest Eid in their lifetimes as they have been suffering from pain and agony due to the loss of their loved ones as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic or any other reason. This coronavirus is killing our communities, our loved ones, our friends, our family members, moms, dads, brothers, sisters, and so many others in different parts of the world.
But, being Muslims, have to submit to the will of All. We should know full well that we all belong to Allah and we have returned to him sooner or later.
So, let us take a few moments to pray for the ones who departed this world due to the pandemic or any other reason. We also need to make sure that people around us, the ones who do not have the financial means to celebrate their Edi properly, also support us.
