Narita Airport is the largest airport of Japan. It is about 1.5 hours away from Tokyo by limousine bus or Taxi. Fast trains reach there from Central Tokyo in around half the time the buses take. It has all the modern facilities a world class airport could have. It has three terminals, Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and a recently built terminal 3. Before you get to the airport from Tokyo or the surrounding areas after spending your time in Japan, you have to make sure from which terminal your flight departs. Otherwise, you may have some trouble going here and there along with your luggage However, there are free buses available at all the times between the three terminals.
You will find prayer rooms in all three terminals. You can also enjoy tasty Japanese halal food in the restaurants located in the terminals.
Prayer rooms are located before the check-in areas in the terminals. You can make abolution (Wudu) inside the prayer rooms. However, you will have to use nearby toilets located on the same floors nearby. Appropriate signs are displayed at all the places for the toilets.
Before using these toilets, please make sure that you understand how to use these washlets and the associated buttons by using which you could clean yourself. For a detailed discussion, please see a blog post written by this author. It will give you a complete guide on how to use these toilets properly for cleaning yourself and where can you can find them.
Two Halal-certified restaurants are located in both the terminals. They serve delicious Japanese Halal food including, Udon, Sushi and Tenpura. These halal dishes are available at reasonable prices. These foods are especially prepared in designated halal-certified kitchen. So, you can eat them without any reservations in your mind.
