Japan, the land of the rising sun, is blessed by Allah with natural scenery, mountains, rivers, sea, fresh water lakes and what not. After the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake in the Tohoku region, the local government in that area, has been constructing a massive 700km long Michinoku Trail for locals and foreigners alike to explore.
The track stretches from Hachinobe to Aomori to Soma to Fukushima. The work is still in progress. The local governments of the area have been making massive efforts to attract international travelers by making an English language website which details English maps to help plan their hiking trips between campgrounds, small towns as well as larger cities.
You are encouraged to explore the area along with all its natural beauty scattered so abundantly. This trail is for all regardless of their Japanese language ability.
Although we are not sure whether you will be able to find Halal restaurants during your trips anywhere on the trail, please follow the halal restaurants information given on this site as well as others.
