Every day is like Sunday in Tokyo these days. Not that long ago, we used to go to mosques on Fridays and Saturdays at least. We would visit a nearby park for a long walk. We would also visit our customers not only in Tokyo but in other parts of Japan as well. We would make countless number of calls almost every single week for business and personal reasons. But, these days, everything seems to be in a standstill position.
Tokyo`s financial districts such as Shinjuku, Otemachi, and Shiodome, etc. are almost deserted. Most of the theme parks, tourist spots, cinemas, and, entertainment districts are closed.
With a large number of company employees working from home — often with surprising effectiveness — some are wondering whether the city will be permanently changed by the coronavirus lockdown.
No one seems to have any definitive answers as to what the future is going to bring upon us. However, being a Muslim, I believe in Allah. He is the one who is controling the situation, He is the one who can do whatever He wants and there is no one who can compel Him to do the ortherwise. So, let`s turn to Him. He is the only one Who can help us come out of this pandemic.
All of us need to turn to Allah, seek His forgiveness for all our sins and pray to Him for comfort and support.
