TOKYO —The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and Tokyo Metro Co are planning to build a new station on the Hibiya subway line in preparation for the 2020 Olympics and Paralympics. This is another major step the government and the Metro Company are taking to make the city more convenient for the Olympics.
In fact, not only Hibiya Line but also other private companies are embracing for the grand event by doing countless number of of renovation and construction projects spread all over the city.
The construction for the proposed station will begin next summer The station will be situated between Kamiyacho and Kasumigaseki stations near the west side of Toranomon Hills, NTV reported.
