Tokyo – In a bid to attract ever increasing number of local and foreign visitors to do business with the company, Japan Airlines (JAL), the largest carrier in the country, has enhanced the service that its customers receive at Osaka (Itami) Airport.
The airline has installed power stations near select boarding gates at the airport to help ensure that passengers’ mobile devices do not run out of power at any time. The project is being launched as a pilot project for the time being.
JAL has said that it will monitor closely how the power stations are used by passengers, and if successful, will consider expanding the new service to more domestic airports in Japan.
