Osaka – Primed to upgrade its Halal-friendly services to its Muslim guests, Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka announced recently that it was going to upgrade its Halal offerings to its Muslim customers from June 1, 2015 by providing information about nearby mosques, prayer timetable, Qibla marks in its rooms etc.
This five-star hotel is centrally located adjacent to the famous Kintetsu Osaka-Uehonmachi Station The Uemachi Plateau is full of history and culture since olden times. The hotel is also easily accessible from the famous historical cities of Japan such as Kyoto, Nara and Kobe.
Providing high-quality Halal food to its Muslim customrs was the prime thrust for the hotel in 2014. This year, it has focused its attention to offering other Muslim friendly services such as Qibla directions in its rooms, prayer timetable, prayer mats etc.
With a solid commitment to cater to its Muslim customers from all parts of the world, Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka offers a wide range of facilities and services. For prayer facilities, guests are offered dedicated prayer areas, prayer mats and prayer timetables etc. Hotel rooms on seventh and 11th floors are marked with prayer directions for guests who prefer to pray in the privacy of their rooms. A list of the mosques located in the close proximity to the hotel can also be obtained on request from the reception, should guests wish to visit a nearby mosque especially on Juma and/or other days.
Muslim guests will find a number of Halal dining options at the hotel – including a wide range of authentic Turkish and Arabian cuisines, which are Halal certified by “Kyoto Muslim Association”.
