Tokyo – The Japanese-arm of American theme park Universal Studios is planning to build a new park in Okinawa to expand an already-successful franchise, its boss said Wednesday. However, the plan is still in its early stages.
That might be a good news for the company and for the general public, especially in Okinawa. However, they need to have at least one Muslim-friendly restaurant inside the park if they really want to attract Muslim visitors from japan and from other countries.
The author of this post has repeatedly requested Tokyo Disneyland administration to consider opening a haall-friendly restaurant. However, still they not seem to be heeding to the call. That phenomenan is making lives of the Muslim visitors difficult while insde the park.
“What the discussion has revolved around is opening another theme park in Okinawa,” Universal Studios Japan (USJ) president Glenn Gumpel told local reporters in Osaka. We only hope the Universal Studios does not make the same mistake as did Tokyo Disneyland near Tokyo.
