To revive the tourism industry, the Japanese government has announced partial subsidies for domestic travelers and support local tourism. The local halal restaurants should be no exception.
This year was supposed to be a bumper year for Japan`s tourism industry as the Tokyo Olympics were planned to be held in July to August in the city. However, the COVID-19 pandemic changed all that.
A large number of Japanese firms had planned to export halal food products to various Muslim countries. Now, it looks like they have started reassessing the situation in the domestic and international markets. They may start their business operations.
