Haneda Airport

Another airport in Tokyo after Narita International Airport, Haneda is increasingly becoming an important hub for passengers from South-East Asian countries.  The airport is located very near from central Tokyo. It has three terminals. Two of them are reserved for local flights while the third one is for international carriers.

Prayer room facilities and halal food restaurants are available both at domestic Terminal 2 and International Airport.

Prayer Room

There is a prayer room available on the 3rd floor near L counter at the International Terminal at the airport.　You can make abolution inside the prayer room. However, you will have to go out for using toilets.  Moreover, when you get to the door of the prayer room, just press the call button and ask them to open the prayer room for you.  About ten to 15 people can prayer together.  It is on the farthest end of the main hall at the international terminal.

Halal Food

Although, there is no Halal-certified restaurant at the airport, there are at least two restaurants which offer either halal or halal-friendly menu.

One of them is a Turkish restaurant called Istanbul Restaurant at dometic Terminal 2. It offers Turkish halal dishes. the other one is a Japanese restaurant which offers both halal and non-halal dishes in the premises.  The cook is a Pakistani Muslim who serves Pakistani halal dishes. Currently, thera er four different dishes. You may choose which you like.
