Tokyo:- Japan Airlines (JAL) is offering a lower domestic fare – “oneworld® YOKOSO/Visit KYUSHU Fare” for overseas visitors in order to stimulate travel demand from overseas to the Kyushu region which consists of world-famous like Nagasaki and Fukuoka.
Fukuoka being the largest city in the area has at least one masajid and several halal friendly hotels and restaurants to serve their Muslim guests from overseas as well as the growing local Muslim population from various countries.
In other cities like Kumamoto, Oita, Miyazaki and Kagoshima, there are large Muslim communities having masajid almost in every major city of the region. They also have lot of halal friendly restaurants and hotels who cater to the growing number of Muslim guests from various Muslim countries.
JAL said it hopes the new fare will help invigorate the local economy by attracting more overseas travelers to visit Kyushu through its enhanced domestic network.
The new fare will be 5,400 yen for one sector which is half the price of the airline’s existing “oneworld Yokoso/Visit Japan Fare.”
This new special fare is available for domestic routes between Tokyo (Haneda/Narita) or Osaka (Itami) and the Kyushu region including Fukuoka, Kitakyushu, Oita, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Miyazaki and Kagoshima regions.
